This eBay listing is for a MARTIN HANDCRAFT DANSANT Trumpet, Serial Number 55791. I believe it is from 1925 based upon the serial number, but please do your own research. It appears that the majority of this is gold plated, but please judge for yourself via the pictures. It plays well. The scroll work is very nice. The 3 valves move freely and are pretty snappy, but I am sure that a good reconditioning would be a good idea. The main tuning slide is stuck, but the other three move freely. The three slides that I was able to measure all measure close to .430 bore size. The majority of the lacquer finish is gone. The case is not a Martin case, but it is in fair condition and is functional. Please look at ALL of the pictures carefully. I am selling this with NO RETURNS. It comes only with what you see pictured, nothing more. Thank you for taking time to look.
