    Description

Vintage Conn 26B Symphony model Bb Trumpet in silver plate with a gold wash in the bell. The middle valve is marked "236653 * Patented" which dates this to 1926. The rotary valve for Bb to A is marked "22810".  This is a rare model that was started in the early 1920s and ended about 1928. This is a low pitch model with a slightly heavier gauge metal than was used for the 2B and was meant for symphony work.
Great playing horn with all valves and slides working fine and good compression. Nice silver plated finish with a gold wash in the bell. This was finish #2 which originally cost (,369 in 2021). Comes with a rare Symphony model mouthpiece that's a little worn but still plays great and the original case. This comes with just the Bb/A slide with rotary valve. The second Bb only slide is long gone.
The tuning slide has a dent in the A loop and a water key that looks to have been reset. See the two photos for this.
    4.675" bell; 19.5" long; 0.459" bore
