Antrim Shale Frasnian Microfossil Rock Sample

Description

About 500g of shale from the late Devonian Antrim Shale Formation, intended for the purpose of extracting microfossils. The shale is about 382-372 million years old and contains conodont elements, prasinophyte algae cysts, possibly ray finned fish scales, crustacean and plant material. The solvent method is the method that worked for me, and the shale dissolves more quickly than other shales I've worked with.
