Devonian plant fossil Archaeopteris with stem and 4 fronds with foliage preserved. Haven’t seen one of these in quite a long time. The Provenance is from Germany, from an old collection. You just don?t see this material around these days and that’s a shame. Archaeopteris was considered the first tree and this is from the Devonian
