King Silvertone Cornet
Solid sterling silver bell built by H.N. White Co. about 1947
Original lacquer with a nice aged patina. Very good condition, includes original case.
The horn is in very good condition, excellent valves and slides all work smoothly. It has a few small pings as shown in the photos. There are also some small ripples in the bell tail near the first valve. I got the horn in mid 1960's and played it 1 year in high school band. It's been stored in its original case since. The case has some scuffs and the spring is broken on one latch otherwise it's a solid case. I'm including a custom gold plated mouthpiece made for me by Curry. The rim is similar to a Bach 5C. Also includes the cup and straight mutes. More photos available on request.
I've been a full-time professional musician for over 50 years. I have retired and in the process of thinning out some of my collection.
