Andre's Silver Cleaner is a great product for cleaning silver and billon coins and ancient artifacts!  Place enough cleaner into a container suitable to completely submerse the item you are cleaning. After 20 minutes of soaking, simply remove it from the cleaner and run fresh water over it and brush it off.  Then repeat if needed until the item is cleaned to your satisfaction.
It is not necessarily the best product to use on ALL coins and artifacts, as each item is unique and different. It will not bring back details if the details are already gone.  But, it is an invaluable weapon to have in your coin and artifact cleaning arsenal for cleaning silver and billon alloy items as it is superior to many cleaning methods, depending on the condition of the item being cleaned.
Andre's Silver cleaner is an immersion cleaner. You must immerse the item being cleaned and soak it over time until the desired results are achieved.  The cleaner can be used over and over, do not discard it after a single use.
