    Erika Lagerbielke is one of Sweden’s most well-known designers. Her designs are known and appreciated all over the world and she has had numerous solo exhibitions internationally. She is founder and co-owner, with Tomas Åhlman, of independent design company Erika Lagerbielke & Co AB, where she acts as creative director. The company cooperates with strong brands such as Orrefors, Gense and Collection Kallemo.
    Erika Lagerbielke’s design concentrates on innovation and function with strong artistic expression. She has been creating award winning glass designs for Orrefors since 1982, where she has specialized in stemware and products to enhance the meal experience as well as unique art pieces. Among her well known and popular designs are design classic Intermezzo, wine glass series Merlot and connoisseur wine glass Difference.
    Erika Lagerbielke is professor in glass design at Linnaeus University in Växjö, Sweden, where she works with education, research and regional development.
