the mug
i can find no issues. this is a coffee mug celebrating all things music (music sheets, lines, notes, instruments). it is fine bone china by roy kirkham (england, see more on roy kirkham pottery below) and was produced during the year 2007. depicted are

the porcelain has a nice matte finish. fun to hold and kind of different for a mug. the cool handle also has musical notes on the outer most plane.
it is 4 1/4" tall. it has a slightly flared rim. the rim diameter is 3". from the outer most part of the handle to the opposite rim is 4 1/2". you can view the second-to-last image for scale.

a highly skilled artisan copper plate engraver, company founder and chairman roy kirkham formed the pottery business in the early 1970s producing character jugs and figurines, and later the fine bone for which he would become globally renowned.
roy kirkham is the founder of roy kirkham & co. ltd; and prior to setting up his own company in the 1970s, he trained, met, designed for and gained inspiration from many of the famous pottery names and iconic brands of the era. although in his 80s, roy kirkham is fit and well, and continues to work for the company.
