First Trumpet:

Additional Info:
This is a fantastic instrument in really great shape.  It has lacquer wear to it yes but the instrument itself has almost no dents on it.  The horn plays great! The bell is in very good alignment with a very slight lean in the middle of the bell. These are difficult to come by in such good condition and often more difficult to find in a pair in the same place with such close serial numbers.  We have them up as a pair and it is possible that we would be willing to look at splitting up the pair however most often if you are getting one you also need another one.

The overall physical condition of this used instrument is Very Good
Dents:
Almost no dents or dings
Playing Condition:
This instrument is currently in Very Good playing condition
The Finish:
It has approximately 50- 55% of the lacquered finish and approximately 90-95% of the silver-Nickel finish on the bell.
Player Wear:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
Valve Condition:
All the valves are in good working condition and all of the tuning slides are loose
Lead Pipe Condition:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
The Bell:
Almost no dents and dings and no evidence of bell edge dents (See Pics) It has a silver-nickel dipped bell and does have its bell tightening screw.
Bell Dent Removal/Repair:
Light evidence
Metal Condition:
No broken or patched metal
The Mouthpiece:
No Mouthpiece is included, or other accessories
The Stand:
If pictured, not included.
The Case:
Older Used Condition (Still usable but significant signs of physical wear) is likely the original case with letters painted on it.

Additional Info:
This is the second half to the pair of Olds Studio Model Herald Trumpets.  This instrument is in nearly identical condition to the other Herald trumpet that we have.  It does have a more visible dent on the underside of the bell throat on the opposite side of the engraving.  Just beyond the halfway point moving towards the bell flair you can see in pictures a slight slant upwards in the bell throat.  This instrument does not have its bell tightening screw.  Just like the other Herald trumpet this has a great sound to it and it plays very well.  These instruments are typically difficult to find in such good condition.  We have a pair of them that are only a few digits apart in serial number so this is a great set!

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.

Be sure all original parts of the item purchased are included before you return it.

In order to receive a refund our policy requires you to put insurance on the item for its return shipping.

Please use the original packing material and box.  Please use original packing material inside the case around the item.  Also use the original packing material around the case in the box to protect the item from shipping damage. If your item does not have a case, please use all packing material that the item came with to protect the item from shipping damage.

Uninsured packages or items shipped “COD” or “Shipping Due” will be refused and a refund will not be issued.

Once the item is received, we will conduct a physical inspection. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a refund.
