"Brooksella" Fossil, Cambrian period, age of Trilobites, Floyd County Georgia. Two specimens of contrasting size offered. Composed of chert. Discovered in stream gravels. The pair weighs 3 ounces. From the Cambrian period, Conasauga Formation and found near Rome, Georgia. Discussed in a 2007 Palaios research article by Schwimmer and Montante. Thought to be a form of primitive sponge.
